Sunday Cooking 11.20

Cold weather is not really my scene so on the weekends sometimes I prefer to hang out at home with some good tv shows, candles, furry socks, faux fur blankets, and some good home cooking. Today I decided to pull out my favorite chili recipe and instead of making it with cornbread like I normally do I made pumpkin muffins.

I use this Pinterest recipe: http://www.cookingclassy.com/slow-cooker-chili/ree-pumpkin-bread-muffin-baking-mix

I use these ingredients for my chili:

Lean Ground Turkey

Canned Tomato sauce & diced tomatoes

Rotel

Onions

Green & Red peppers

Garlic

Paprika

Cumin

Chili powder

Dark & Light Red kidney beans

Salt & Pepper

I normally buy the beans from either Kroger or Trader Joes

The muffins were easy to prepare since it just involves adding water, oil and eggs to the baking mix and throw them in the oven at 400 degrees.
